Money for holidays or can card do it all?

Q: Do we need cash for our holidays?
A: Yes we still do, the reason why we still do is although card can get you most things, there are somethings in life where cash is still king, an excellent example is in certain country cash is still widely used & credit is rarely used. And the best country to experience this is Japan (really most Asian countries), except for a few where card is more widely used.
But be a ware that you should never travel with too much cash, as the fact is, if you get mugged, you could lose it all (cash) if you don’t also credit.

Q: So what is the best way to travel “money wise”
A: Well if you plan on using cash on your holiday then best suggestion is don’t bring too much cash with you, bring both cash & credit card (must be secured).
Example if you want to spend say $20000 on your holiday, then you bring only say $9000 cash & the rest $11000 in credit on a card that will only allow you to spend that much and no more. Think it as a ratio of maybe 40:60 or something along these lines.

Q: Why you should spend money on food on your holidays?
A: Budget, simple answer.

Q: Cash or credit for other travel expenses?
A:
This one is tricky answer, as you will need to look at your holiday plans and then work from there, for example most dining experience sticking with cash is great, but for renting things like cars, bike etc, credit card is best.
